Young Voices 2014

On Wednesday the 5th of February the school choir went to Manchester to the Young Voices concert at the Manchester arena.

Music 1

We sung and danced along with ten thousand other children from different schools! We sung with Stacey Solomon and rocked away to Bon Jovi!

The atmosphere was amazing as we had torches and loud screaming voices ( especially during the One Direction song!)

Light up a life

Last Friday the school choir sung for the St Johns hospice service ‘Light up a life’.  It was at the Winter Gardens in Morecambe and we were on the stage along with the brass band.

Here is us having a practise on the stage.

We sang three songs, Spirit of Peace, Shalom in four parts and Silent Night alongside the brass band. The atmosphere was amazing, freezing and very moving as people lit candles to remember loved ones they have lost.

The children were fantastic, very well behaved and sung beautifully, it really was a memorable and special night for involved .

Please leave a reply about your experience of the night.
